IVFDF (IF-diff), or the Inter Varsity Folk Dance Festival, is coming to Nottingham for the first time since 1991! The longest continually-running folk festival in the UK, it's an action-packed, folk-filled weekend extravaganza for students (and students at heart) from across the country and beyond. There will be music. There will be dancing. There will be silliness. There will be joy. Expect to try lots of new things with new friends who you will probably keep for life.

When nobody came forward at IVFDF 2018 to run the festival in 2020, we were horrified. So horrified, in fact, that we sprung into action and formed a (very loose) East Midlands coalition. Our team of intrepid (some might say foolhardy) volunteers are putting on this festival, bringing IVFDF back to Nottingham for the first time since 1991.
Nottingham is a central location, some might say the heart of the country and we like to think that in coming together to make a festival happen, we're also getting back to the heart of IVFDF. Why not join us?
